Is the Upgrade for Kickstarter only?

Is the upgrade Kickstarter only or is there going to be somewhere to purchase if you Pre Ordered from the website?

It does not appear to be for Kickstarter only. From what i understand, you have to email ifactory at build@iFactory3d.com if you want to purchase it. (Correct me if i am wrong)
