Am I missing something or would a simple z axis rotation (To eject anything on the belt) be a really nice simple function on the Pi? I find it difficult to remove parts from the belt at times, and sometimes it even seems to fray the surface a little..

Any others having similar issues or am I missing something?

Hey,

there is a simple Z Axis rotation already implemented - the normal X Y Z control from Octo and also the printer itself. A "realease object" feature would be a good idea!

I agree. If it's a single item print or the last print in the queue, would be easy enough to have the belt roll x amount of distance. Guess that could be an end gcode command, but then it would do it every time .
