There are a lot of different nozzles on the market. You can either buy very cheap nozzlesor, on the other side of the spectrum, nozzles for even more than one hundred dollars. As every maker knows: The standard brass nozzles will wear out from time to time.
If you are printing abrasive materials like carbon fibre, glow in the dark or even wood filament, you have to change your nozzle every so often. This can be a costly thing if you are printing a lot on a regular basis. At this point it is a good thing to invest in nozzles with better quality.
On our machines, we had the best performance with the nozzles from Zodiac. Of course, they do cost more than the cheap made brass ones but also won't wear out like the brass ones do.
In the end, every user has to decide for himself: Do I want a standard nozzle or do I want a better one?
Feel free to tell us your experience with the different nozzles that are available on the market today! We would like to hear about your experience.
