Dear friends, you already got to know him briefly in the last post, but we think he deserves more, so now we're going to introduce him to you in a highly official and more detailed way: His name is Plus, One Plus. iFactory3D One+ to be precise.

Although he is still in the development phase, there are already a few highlights that we have decided on and which we will therefore point out to you here in advance:

  • Direct Drive & Volcano hot-end by default
  • hot & cold zone
  • new board
  • redesigned & strengthened frame structure
  • simpler belt control & changing
  • most parts from Germany & European suppliers

Among our customers are many who want to use a belt printer to start their own production or to expand/restructure already existing businesses. In short: The wish for a reliable and professional belt printer is huge and we think, with the One+ we can definitely fulfill this wish!

I'm just looking for an indicator! Will it be double? or like 20% more than the One? Is it aimed at print-farm applications or is it just a better version of the 'Regular One' for hobbyist/semi-serious businesses

And do you reckon it will be released this year? Or?

Because if I come home to my One in July and decide I want to buy another One (or + variety) I will not send you any more cash until you release more information 😜

Hey Carl,

it wont be double the price, not even near this! I cant estimate but it shouldnt be over 1.500€ but dont take this for granted.

It will be released this year, yes - in the following two months.

Hi, any news on the one+?
I want to print musical instruments that are 1mx20cmx6cm which is beyond the capabilities of most affordable 3d printers. But it also requires a very smooth surface quality, so I hope the one+ sets a new standard in print quality also!

Also saw your Youtube video about the iFactory Pro. What is the difference between those two printers? And when will both be available?

Thank you for the link! So the One+ becomes a non-commercial community project and the Pro will be iFactory's next release. What I can extract from the article is that the Pro has an additional camera. Anything else? And when will it be available?
Is it worth waiting for when print quality is a focus? Or is the One with upgrade in the same league already?

Is the ifactorypro.com website legit or a scam of somebody who tries to collect preorder money under your name?
If it is legit, it might be better to at least link to it from your usual webpage to give this site some more credibility? Or just post the anouncement on this page instead of opening a new one?

it looks genuine to me, and the specs match what i have been given in the past,
BUT I also would prefer that there had been linking inside the COMPANY website to the new address( and with info regarding the pro being also available here)

Ok, the Pro preorder online on this site now, too. (No mention of that separate site though...)
Hope they send some review units to independent, credible, competent people, would definitely want to hear some opinions on build quality (and see some results) before jumping on train.
Sounds interesting though!
